Dual Shades: Two Shades in One
Are there spaces in your home where you need more than one type of lighting? Dual shades provide a range of function & atmosphere control, from light filtering to room darkening. We call it Duolite, and it’s the solution you’re looking for.
- Two shades in one
- One light filtering shade
- One room darkening shade
Dual shades invite soft light with an incredible view. When you need room darkening, the second shade is lowered in place to block incoming light. From dual roller shades, to dual sheer shades, you can have your light & block it, too!
Honeycomb Shades
Two shades are joined in the middle–one to filter light, one to block it out. Cover the entire window with the light filtering shade, block the light with the room darkening portion in place, or create dynamic atmosphere with a little of both! When both shades are covering a portion of the window, you get the effect of top down shades.
Secondary Blackout Roller
The dual shades that use a secondary blackout roller shade allow you independent access of each shade. That means, the blackout roller shade can remain in the headrail entirely while you enjoy the light filtering fabric. You can lower the blackout roller shade into place, stopping at any point to block direct rays, but still enjoy natural light. This system is available with Roller Shades, Solar Shades, Roman Shades and Sheer Shades.
Secondary Honeycomb Shade
This is different from what’s available for our Honeycomb Shades. These dual shades feature a secondary honeycomb shades that rest in place BEHIND the front, light filtering woven shade. They operate independent of one another–that means you can enjoy all the natural light you’d like, with filtered beauty. Then, drop the secondary shade into place, blocking the light and controlling the temperature with an energy saving cellular design.
