COVERED BY HUNTER DOUGLAS & ALTA LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

  • Hunter Douglas window fashion products are covered for defects in materials, mechanisms, workmanship or failure to operate for as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product.
  • All internal mechanisms.
  •  Components and brackets.
  • Fabric delamination/Cell separation.
  • Operational cords for a full seven (7) years from the date of purchase.
  • Repairs and/or replacements will be made with like or similar parts or products.
  • Hunter Douglas motorization components are covered for 5 years from date of purchase.

NOT COVERED BY LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

  • Any conditions caused by normal wear and tear.
  • Abuse, accidents, misuse or alterations to the product.
  • Exposure to the elements (sunlight, salt air, wind, water/moisture, high humidity, or corrosive materials) which may cause discoloration, fading, cracking, shrinking, stretching, or warping over time.
  • Failure to follow our instructions with respect to measurement, proper installation, cleaning or maintenance.
  • Shipping charges, cost of removal and reinstallation.
  • Warranty ONLY applies to the original purchaser of products.

Within 60 days of installation: Aero Drapery & Blind will service warranty-related issues at your home free of charge. Some products may need to be taken to our service center or sent to the manufacturer for further inspection or repair, which may result in extended lead times.

After 60 days: You may bring your product to one of our locations, and we will facilitate the warranty repair at no charge. Repairs that fall outside of the warranty—such as restrings or lift system issues—will incur a per-unit fee for non-motorized products. Motorized product repairs will be quoted individually.

In-Home Service After 60 Days: If you require an in-home visit for warranty or out-of-warranty service, there is service fee per trip, which includes removal and reinstallation of the product.

Battery Replacement & Shade /Remote Programming: Battery replacement and programming services are not covered under the 5-year warranty. However, within the first 60 days after installation, Aero Drapery & Blind will replace defective batteries or reprogram your shades at no charge. After 60 days, Aero Drapery & Blind offers this service for a nominal fee.

Shutters, custom draperies, top treatments, and other specialty products will require an inspection to determine the cost of repair.
